You may not know this, but those old TVs, computers, monitors, 8 track players (hey, that’s an antique…might be worth something) have heavy metals in them like lead, mercury, and cadmium. Because of this many states (including PA in 2013) prohibit you from simply throwing these items in the garbage. Instead, they have to be properly disposed of at a facility that specializes in “e-waste”. It’s been dubbed “e-cycling”. Yes, we agree, it’s a tad bit corny but don’t blame us, we didn’t make it up.
If you are a home owner with some old computers or electronics that have been collecting dust, or perhaps you own commercial spaces that have had eWaste left behind, we can come by, pick it up, and get rid of it for you in a way that complies with state laws and keeps the heavy metals out of the landfills.
You might be surprised at what qualifies as electronic waste. Basically, anything with a circuit board fits the bill, and although the first thing you may think of is computers, which are indeed eWaste, so is many newer appliances such as smart fridges.
Electronic / eWaste that we accept includes:
- Office Printer Disposal
- TV Pickup
- Computer Disposal
- Smart Appliances
- Remote Control Vehicles
- DVD / VCRs
- Used Medical Equipment
- Fluorescent Lights
- Stereo / Audio Equipment
